           Without a doubt, the most important preparation to be made for an emergency situation lies with you. Forming a strategy before the storm hits makes perfect sense. Think        about how you react in a time of tension, say, you drop something. What, then, would you do in an escalated, intense time of crisis? Being disabled can make serious situations a bit scary. Okay. A lot scary… But your ability to cope will certainly affect the whole outcome. In a good way or a bad way. The choice is yours. Most people aren’t educated ahead of time as to how to handle a crisis. More often than not, people deal with what they must deal with, in the best way they can, on the fly. Adrenalin is a powerful force and narrows focus to accomplish incredible feats. Adding some advance planning to that surely can’t hurt!

National Association of Secretaries of State

One of the most important gifts presented in the founding documents, is the right to vote.
This gives us the power to control the fate of America.
Educate yourself and use it wisely.
Every American citizen is guaranteed a vote
but we must also guarantee that every voter is an American citizen.
It is our duty,
OUR SOLEMN DUTY,
to be educated voters.
For too long, a blanket of apathy has covered America.  Many of us wandered between feelings of what-can-one-person-do
and the-government-will-take-care-of-it.
What we've been left with is a stunning level of greed and corruption that is deep, dangerous and disgraceful.
But know this:
one person has an amazing amount of influence and the government will not do it right.
Which is where we come in.
Here is the place to start.
VOTE!!!
vettinmg---new and incumbent
One of the most important obligations we have is to educate each and every person we are able, to understand the powerful  privilege and somber duty it is to vote.  An uneducated electorate is a very dangerous matter.  Voting by name recognition or popularity, rather than by who is best for America, spells trouble. The other side of the coin, not voting at all, also spells trouble.  Too many of  us have been walking in apathy and indifference for too many years, only to find our Republic rocking dangerously on the edge of a very deep hole. This is not just any hole.  If we don't do something soon, our chance to step away from the edge and reset  back on the road to freedom will be lost forever. Forever!

"Free people, remember this maxim: We may acquire liberty, but it is never recovered if it is once lost."
                                                                                                                                 ~~Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778)

We have a choice to make.  Take America off the road she is on:
  • big government with unrestrained spending;
  • intrusion into our very homes, from what food to eat, what light bulbs to use, what cars to drive & beyond;
  • a sluggish economy with massive unemployment that shows no sign of recovering under current policies;
  • loss of personal freedoms as never before.

                                    OR

Return to our status as the greatest nation on earth
  • offer no apologies for American exceptionalism;
  • restore our freedoms as outlined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights;restore our freedoms as outlined in our  and Bill of Rights;
  • let a free market economy work, unrestrained by unnatural manipulations;
  • return the states' rights to the states;
  • equal opportunity not equal outcome.

We are running out of time--truly reaching A POINT OF NO RETURN.  Make no mistake, great battles await us and we must stand strong. But great rewards are to be won for the children...

Disturbing to note,  the Pew Center on the States research shows that
"...at least 51 MILLION eligible citizens are unregistered in the U.S.
That's almost 1/4 of the eligible population."
